Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 27, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how CYBER SECURITY INSIDERS LLC ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website, app, and related services (the "Service").
1. Information we collect
1.1 Account information
When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication data necessary to provide sign-in, password recovery, and account security.
1.2 Phone number and SMS data (optional)
If you choose to add a phone number and opt in to SMS, we collect your phone number and SMS-related information (for example: delivery status and timestamps) to provide notifications and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
1.3 Usage and device data
We collect basic usage data (for example: pages viewed, features used, and timestamps) and device/browser information to operate the Service, maintain security, troubleshoot, and improve performance.
1.4 Content you provide
The Service may allow you to save filters, bookmarks, preferences, and participate in AI-assisted experiences (such as chats or prompts). We collect the content you submit as needed to deliver those features.
1.5 Payment information
If you purchase a subscription, payments are processed by third-party payment processors (such as Stripe). We do not store full payment card details. We may receive limited information such as subscription status, billing period, and a processor customer ID.
2. How we use information
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
- Authenticate you and secure accounts (including fraud and abuse prevention).
- Personalize your feed and user experience (for example, saved filters and preferences).
- Provide SMS notifications and MFA if you opt in (you can opt out of marketing SMS at any time).
- Operate AI features. Your inputs and outputs may be processed to generate responses and to improve product quality.
- Communicate with you about important product, security, or policy updates.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our policies.
3. How we share information
We may share information in the following circumstances:
- Service providers. We use vendors to help us operate the Service (for example hosting, analytics, authentication, email delivery, and payment processing). They may process data on our behalf under contractual restrictions.
- Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law or if we believe disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and security of users, our business, or the public.
- Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
4. AI processing and model providers
Some features use AI models to generate summaries, explanations, recommendations, or chat responses. Your prompts and related context may be sent to AI infrastructure providers to generate outputs. We do not intentionally send sensitive personal data to models unless you provide it.
Don’t submit sensitive information (e.g., passwords, SSNs, private keys, full financial account numbers) into chats or prompts.
5. SMS consent, opt-out, and carrier notes
If you opt in to receive SMS messages, you consent to receive texts related to account security (including MFA codes) and, if you separately opt in, product notifications. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
You can opt out of non-essential SMS by replying STOP (where supported) or by updating your notification preferences in the app. For help, reply HELP or contact support@cybersecurityinsiders.com.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
6. Cookies and similar technologies We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, session management, and basic site functionality. Some cookies are essential for the Service to work.
7. Data retention
We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the Service and for legitimate business purposes such as security, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. You may request deletion of certain data, subject to legal requirements.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your choices
- Account data. You can update certain profile information within the app.
- Access and deletion. You may request access to or deletion of your personal information by contacting us.
10. Children’s privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. International users
If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other locations where our providers operate.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date indicates when changes were made. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective means you agree to the updated policy.
